Last night as I was doing some first quarter planning in a hot, steamy, coconut-fragranced bubble bath (it’s my favorite way to treat myself at home), I heard the Lord say “This will be a year of production”.

God was telling me 2018 was my year to wrap up loose ends from previous years, so that I would be positioned to be supernaturally accelerated deeper into my destiny. This Word isn’t just for me, which is why I’m sharing it.

In order for this “production” to manifest, I understand I must stay focused on finishing one project at a time and persevere against the inevitable odds.

This will be a year of a lot of hard work and fun, if I desire to fulfill my purpose and destiny, which I do. What about you?

If this were an equation, it would look like this:

Enthusiasm (Focus + Consistency) X Determination = Results

Do you want 2018 to be your year of “production”? Here are three tips to help you manifest this:

In every quarter, focus on accomplishing the one import thing you must do. This means you must learn to say “no” to well-meaning offers from well-meaning people that would delay your progress.

• If you’re not already doing this, for your top three “I must get it done” tasks, map out on paper each step it will take to complete the job well and to complete it quickly. Then type or write these daily tasks into your digital or physical planner. Dreams are just dreams until you put legs (tasks) on them.

• Just do it! We must be brutally honest with why we are procrastinating in doing what we say we want. Learn to procrastinate procrastination. Many times procrastination is rooted in fear, which is false evidence appearing real.

One way to defeat fear is by meditating 1 Timothy 1:7 and plugging your name into it until you believe it. It says:

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

So I say, “For God has not given me Karen Gardner a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I have a sound mind because I know my Daddy God created me to win and accomplish my destiny for His glory because He loves me with an everlasting, unstoppable, undefeatable love.”

I reprogram my mind with the faith contained in God’s Word that stimulates taking consistent, strategic action.
